Kendriya Vidyalaya. Bowenpally, was  established in the year 1987 under defense Sector. Brig.R.K.Sharma, Commander ,54 Arty Bde is Chairman of the Vidyalaya Management Committee and Col.B.P.Sharma, C.O. 18Fd. Regmt. is Nominee chairman.

The Vidyalaya is surrounded by green trees and located away from the busy hub of the city , safe and free from all types of  pollution.

The Vidyalaya is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi.

Cluster Level Kabaddi Meet For Boys & Girls Started From 22 October 2009

Master Pradeep Attri and Akhilesh Kumar of class X have secured 2nd position in Quiz Competition. Bihani Paintings, Sarnath Stupa,  Panch Mahal, Paintings of Water Lilly and Political Map of Mauritious were selected for Regional level Exhibition. Lakshmi Kanth of Class X secured 2nd Position in instrumental music in Cluster Level Social Science Exhibition 2009  held in K.V.Tirumalagiri.

On 9 October 2009 in K.V.Begumpet The Children National Conference on Environment was held and the models Rain Water Harvesting by Renuka Reddy VII B and Recycling of Sewage Water by Shyam Sunder VI B were selected from K.V.Bowenpally.

Vidyalaya will be the Venue for regional level Lawn Tennis from 03 nov to 05 Nov.
